The recording above was featured on Bellor&#8217;s debut album <em>STAY<\/em> (2016) featuring Jennifer Bellor (soprano), Rasar Amani (rapper) and UNLV performers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>&#8220;Powerful from the very beginning, Bellor\u2019s gorgeously haunting vocals hypnotizes in &#8220;Chase the Stars&#8221; like a seemingly innocent mermaid who will later capture you with no intentions of bringing you back. It is a bold and avant-garde juxtaposition of two genres\u2014opera and rap.&#8221; &#8211; <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/nodepression.com\/album-review\/poetic-imagery-and-stylistic-diversity-make-new-jennifer-bellor-album-enchanting\" target=\"_blank\">No Depression<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;For those who prefer contemporary jazz with a twist, &#8220;Chase the Stars&#8221; is an absolute must.&#8221; &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jazzcorner.com\/news\/display.php?news=7754\">JazzCorner<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was a 2016 winner of The American prize in the orchestral category. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are also jazz instrumental versions of Chase the Stars.
