  1. New Album: LONG THESE DAYS to be released by EMITHA’s Lexicon Classics August 16, 2024

Titled Long These Days, this is an experimental art song concept album featuring soprano Olivia Yokers, bass singer Norman Espinoza, electric guitarist Tasos Peltekis, and Bellor on piano. The music is organized beginning with tracks related to morning/early hours and end with tracks about night/dreaming, with themes ranging from empowerment, love, nostalgia, death, and longing. The songs for soprano Olivia Yokers are settings of poems by Christina Rosetti (Song of Flight, Long These days, Echo) and the songs for bassist Norman Espinoza are Spanish settings of four sonnets by Pablo Neruda (translated to Morning, Afternoon, Evening, and Night). Each song is separated with instrumental interludes featuring Bellor (piano) and Peltekis (improvised electric guitar) with the first interlude track titled ‘Dawn’ and the final interlude titled ‘Eyelids Close’ before the final postlude track, ‘Resurgence’, to complete the album.

All fourteen tracks were recorded between November 2023 and March 28, 2024. Mixing by Ron George and Mastering by Gil Kaupp

The album was supported by a Nevada Arts Council Fellowship and a Nevada Arts  Council Jackpot grant.
