New single! I’m thrilled to share the new music New single! I’m thrilled to share the new music video and recording of my piece “All Rivers at Once” for clarinet and tenor saxophone. This was such a fun collaboration with Bryan Conger, Shawna Pennock, and Shahab Zargari. To get the binaural experience, listen with headphones! Many thanks to Bryan and Shawna for their fantastic playing, to Shahab for a beautiful video that he shot at Clark County Wetlands Park, to Gil Kaupp for mastering the track, and to Chuck Foley for recording and mixing at the UNLV Recording Studio. Fantastic opening night of Nevada Ballet Theatre’s NBT Dance Lab. Four of our UNLV Composers wrote new ballets in collaboration with choreographers for this, and it was so wonderful to see their beautiful creations come to fruition. 🩷🎶🎉 Composer/Choreographer: Danielle Aguon (UNLV) and DaYoung Jung Matthew Nell (UNLV) and Natasha Adorlee Colin Marks (UNLV) and Caine Keenan Kevin Klenke (UNLV) and Makino Hayashi The composers also had the opportunity to oversee the production of the recordings of their new ballet compositions in the UNLV Recording Studio and learn about the process of tracking, editing/mixing, and working with performers in studio sessions. It was such a fun and exciting process organizing all of this, pairing the composers with choreographers, and working with the students, instrumentalists, and sound engineers.
