The Henderson Symphony Orchestra gave a wonderful performance of “Tone Poems of Ethereality” for orchestra under the direction of Taras Krysa on Friday, February 6 at the Henderson Convention Center!

I had an incredible time at the Florida State University Festival of New Music, and wanted to share the recording of the FSU SaxoChoir performing the piece, along with some photos from the festival!

My composition Skylark Lullaby will be performed by the FSU SaxoChoir at the Florida State University Festival of New Music January 29-31, 2015. I’m excited to meet with the other composers whose works were selected, in addition to meeting the student and faculty composers/performers at FSU!

Here are the live recordings from the premiere of “Songs of Ethereality” for soprano and piano on December 1, 2014. The performance took place at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, featuring mezzo-soprano Julia Bentley, and pianist Timothy Hoft. This is a set of three songs: “Air and Angels,” “The Distant,” and “Perhaps Not to Be.” The song “The Distant” was originally written for soprano, flute, alto sax, and piano, and was premiered in Greece July 2014 by the Ritsos Project.
